Shipping Corporation India Recruitment 2023: The HR Cell, Shipping Corporation of India Limited (Fleet Personnel Department) has invited the Candidates Eligible for Crane Operator Posts for Multi-Service Vehicles (MSV) on Contractual Basis. As per the Shipping Corporation India Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 04 Vacancies to be filled up for Engagement on Direct Contractual Employment Basis through Walk-in Interviews.
According to the Shipping Corporation India Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued, such Persons who are Eligible and Interested in applying for the same may fill up the Applications in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma to be able to attend the Walk-in Interviews to held on 22nd February 2023 (22.02.2023).
As has been mentioned in the Shipping Corporation India Recruitment 2023 Notification, all 04 Vacancies are to be filled up with Appointment of Suitable Persons on MSV Crane Operator Post.

According to the Shipping Corporation India Recruitment 2023, the Candidates appointed as MSV Crane Operator shall be paid as per the NMB-INSA.
Proposed Wage Structure of the Crane Operator shall be as follows:
The Crane Operator will be engaged on Direct Contract with prevailing Day Rates offered by Shipping Corporation of India (SCI). Rest Terms and conditions will be as per Collective Bargaining Agreement, i.e., National Maritime Board (India) Indian National Science Academy (INSA) (NMB-INSA).
Based on the Shipping Corporation of India Recruitment 2023 Notification, Eligible Candidates should have the Eligibility, Technical Qualification with the Required Experience explained as follows:
The following Technical Qualifications and Experience are required for the Crane Operator:
Technical Qualification and Experience:
1) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Recognized Polytechnic/National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Fitter/Marine Fitter or Diesel/Motor Mechanic/Machinist/ Welder issued by National Council of Training in Vocational Trade (NCTVT), Ministry of Labour, Government of India (GoI) or by the Industrial Training Institute of State Government (SGITI).
2) Minimum One Year of Rank Experience of Crane Operator.
Crane Operator having Minimum One Year of Rank Experience on Board any Multi-Service Vehicles (MSVs) of ONGC (Samudra Nidhi, Samudra Sarvekshak, Samudra Prabha and Samudra Sevak).
Other Requirements/Necessary Documents for Crane Operator:
The Candidate
a) must be in possession of valid Indian CDC, Passport, PAN Card, INDOS no. and PCC
b) must have completed all required Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Courses, H2S & Security Training for Seafarers with designated Security Duties (STSDSD) from DG approved Institutes.
c) must be Medically Fit for Sea Service as per present Medical Rules.
Appointment of Suitable Persons shall be conducted Direct Contractual Employment. Preference in Selection will be given to the Candidates, who are approved by ONGC and have sailed on board any ONGC MSVs.
I) On Selection Day All Applicants should to muster/gather as per the given time in Selection Hall.
II) Designated Officers from FP Department and Operation Division of Shipping Corporation of India will be present in Selection Hall for Selection as per Requirement.
III) After verification of all Documents and Selection in Interview, the Candidates will be sent for Medical Examination.
IV) Thereafter Medically Fit Crane Operator will be posted on the Vessels subject to completion of Joining Formalities, etc.
