SPMCIL Recruitment 2023: The Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) is a Schedule ‘A’ Mini-Ratna Category–I Central Public Sector Enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India. The corporation has invited applications for the position of Chief General Manager (R&D) on a Direct Recruitment basis.
As mentioned in SPMCIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Chief General Manager (R&D) position is at the E-8 Level and offers a Scale of Pay (IDA) of Rs. 1,20,000 – 2,80,000/-. The candidate should have a 1st Class B.Tech/B.E. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Pulp & Paper or Chemistry with at least 20 years of post-qualification experience as an Executive in handling R&D areas. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing input on key aspects of the company’s R&D programs, directing the implementation of new projects, and overseeing the creation of policies, processes, and standards to improve and support systems. The incumbent will also consult senior-level stakeholders across the organization to identify current and future business needs and plan and implement policies accordingly.

(Pay level 13 in pay matrix revised as per 7th Pay Commission)/ Reputed private sector company having turnover of more than Rs. 100/- crores per annum.
