Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2023: Check Posts, Qualification, and How to Apply
Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2023: Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Institute of Sports, NSWC Patiala and SAI NSWC Gandhinagar, Gujarat is inviting applications from eligible and motivated Indian Citizens for providing consultancy for the engagement of services of retired persons as Consultants (Accounts) and Junior Consultants (Accounts/ Finance), respectively. As per the SAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 02 vacancies for the given posts, one for each. The selected candidate shall be appointed on a contract basis initially for a period of one year, which can be extended from a year-to-year basis up to a maximum of 5 years or till the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
As per the SAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligible candidates may apply as per the instructions given in the respective notification. According to the official notification, the closing date for the submission of online applications for Consultant (Accounts) is 02.03.2023 till 5:00 PM and for Consultant (Accounts/ Finance) is 07.03.2023.

As per the official notification of SAI Recruitment 2023,
For Consultant (Accounts)
The age of the candidate shall not exceed 65 years for retired Central / State Government Officers as on the closing date of receipt of applications for appointment on a contract basis.
For Junior Consultants (Accounts/ Finance)
The age of the candidate shall be below 45 years.
For Consultant (Accounts):
Essential Qualification:
As per the official notification, the education qualification required for the post is the candidate should be a retired candidate appointed in Pay Level-07 in Accounts /Audit Department or Completed 5 years’ service in Accounts /Audit Department before retirement in Level 06 as per 7th CPC in Central/State Government /Union Territories offices /PSUs /Autonomous Bodies /Statutory Bodies under Central /State Government.
Desirable Qualification:
The candidates are required to hold a B. Com / M. Com background.
The candidate should have knowledge of working on computers. He /She should be able to work on the Tally program & MS Office.
For Junior Consultants (Accounts/ Finance):
Qualifications:
The candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Finance /Accounts / Commerce OR Two years PG Diplomas in Financial Management/Accounting/CA/ of ICMA from a recognized Institution.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of Computers.
Experience:
The candidate should have a minimum of 05 years of experience (In a relevant field as mentioned in JD) after attaining Essential Qualification.
Experience in any Government/ Semi Govt./ Autonomous/ PSU in a relevant University field.
According to the official notification of Sports Authority of India Recruitment 2023, the initial remuneration for the present recruitment shall be fixed at Rs. 80,250.
The appointment shall be on a contract basis initially for a period of one year, which can be extended from a year-to-year basis up to a maximum of 5 years or till the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
The candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview and the selection will be made based on the recommendations of the duly appointed Selection/ Interview Committee.
