SSC Recruitment 2023: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Havaldar and Multi-Tasking Staff in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union Territories. As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 1558 vacancies which are 1198 vacancies for the post of MTS and 360 vacancies for the post of Havaldar.
As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should have crossed the age of 18 years and the maximum age limit for the post of MTS and Havaldar in CBN is 25 years and the maximum age limit for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and few posts of MTS is 27 years. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 1. Candidates will be selected through a Computer Based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar). Candidates applying for this job post have to pay Rs. 100 as an application fee. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online from the official website on or before the last date. No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board. According to the Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated June 10, 2015, which was published in the Indian Gazette, all degrees, diplomas, and certificates conferred through open and distance learning by institutions recognized as universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and institutions of national importance declared by an Act of Parliament are recognized.
Thus, such degrees will not be accepted for the purpose of educational qualification unless they are recognized for the relevant time period during which the candidates obtained the qualification. Following the announcement of the final outcome, User Departments and Organisations will undergo Document Verification (DV). When such certificates are requested by the relevant Indenting Departments/ Organisations for the purpose of document verification, candidates will be required to provide the pertinent Certificates, such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificates, etc. for completion of Matriculation or equivalent in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the stipulated date. If not, their candidature will be withdrawn.

As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be selected through a Computer Based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar). The Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two sessions on the same day, Session I and Session II, and both sessions must be attempted. The candidate will be eliminated if they do not try any sessions. The first session will last for 45 minutes for the candidates. The first session will automatically end after 45 minutes. Session II will begin right away after Session-I has ended. The second session will last for 45 minutes as well, and it will end simultaneously with the computer-based examination.
As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post have to pay Rs. 100 as an application fee. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Candidates can pay online fees up to 22-07-2023 (23.00).
However, candidates who wish to make a cash payment through Challan of SBI may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 24-07- 2023 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 23-07-2023 (23.00). The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested and eligible candidates have to apply online from the official website on or before the last date. No other mode of application will be accepted. The online application has been started from 30.06.2023 and the last date for filling the online application form is 21.07.2023. The correction window will open from 26.07.2023 and it will remain open till 28.07.2023.
