SSC Recruitment 2023: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Joint Director (Examination Reforms), Joint Director (Research & Analysis), Deputy Director (Research & Analysis), Deputy Director (Electronic Data Processing) and Finance & Budget Officer (Finance & Budget Officer) on a deputation basis. As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the appointment will be made on a deputation basis initially for a period of three years, which can be extended for a period not to exceed seven years. There are 06 vacancies.

As per the SSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above mentioned job post should be below the age of 56 years. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 10, 11 and 12. Interested and eligible candidates have to send their duly filled application along with all relevant documents through proper channel at the SSC office on or before the last date. Joint Director (Examination Reforms)

Officers under the Central/State Governments/Union territories/Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/Autonomous Organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis or with five years regular service in posts in Level-11 or equivalent; or Ten years regular service in a post in Level-9, or equivalent.

Candidates must have Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Candidates must have Eight years teaching/ research experience in the examination reforms/ development of question banks/ examination related work.

Joint Director (Research & Analysis)

Candidates should be a Officers of the Central or State government or Union territories or public sector undertakings/recognized research institutions or universities or semi- Government or statutory or autonomous organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level-11 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Candidates must have Master’s degree from a recognized University or institute or equivalent. Or Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or institute or equivalent. Candidates must have ten years of research work and/or teaching/practical experience including experience in educational measurement or evaluation or examination reforms or statistical analysis of examination data or development or preparation of instructional material or construction of objective type achievement or aptitude test and related areas.

Deputy Director (Research & Analysis)

Candidates should be a Officers under the Central Government holding analogous posts or posts in Level-11 or with 5/8 years’ service in posts in Level-9/Level-6 or equivalent. Candidates must have Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates must have 5 years of experience in supervisory capacity in job analysis or work-study or interpretation of data or research relating to socio-economic matters (Period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years)

Deputy Director (Electronic Data Processing)

Candidates should be a Officers under the Central Government/ State Governments/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institution/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Statutory, Semi- Government or Autonomous Organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis; or with five years regular service in posts in Level-9 or equivalent; or with eight years regular service in posts in Level-6 or equivalent (Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some organisation/ department of the Central government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years).

Candidates must have Master’s degree in Statistical Mathematics/ Operations Research, Physics or Economics/ Commerce (with statistics) or Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science of a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates must have 7 years of experience of electronic data processing work out of which at least 3 years’ experience should be in the actual programming on electronic computer.

Finance & Budget Officer (Finance & Budget Officer)

Candidates should be a Officers of the organized Accounts Department in the Central Government. Holding analogous posts on regular basis or with two years regular service in posts in Level-7 or equivalent: or with five years regular service in posts in Level-6 or equivalent.
