• Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level. OR
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. And
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India undertaking.

For Senior Hindi Translator/Senior Translator-

• Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR

Selection Process for SSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Examination that will be conducted in two tiers. The final selection and allocation of Ministry/Department/Organization will be based on the performance of applicants in Paper I and Paper II, as well as their preference of Post(s)/Department(s).

Application Fee for SSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs.100 as an application fee. The women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. The payment will be made online.
