This appeal has been filed challenging an income tax assessment order passed by the Assessment Unit, Income Tax Department, under Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, raising a tax demand of Rs 6.71 crores, along with a notice requiring payment. As per the tax authorities, certain expenses recorded by TVS SCS Global Freight Solutions Ltd. had not been recorded as income by the suppliers. Now the company is adopting all appropriate legal measures to contest the order and seek a stay on the payment until the matter is resolved.
