Age Limit for UCSL Recruitment 2025:

The candidates must have the below-indicated age limit for applying to UCSL Recruitment 2025.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, in posts reserved for them.

Qualification and Experience for UCSL Recruitment 2025:

For Assistant General Manager (Design)-

•  The applicant must have a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics or Naval Architecture Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University.

Desirable-

• Proficiency in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, SAP, 3D ship design software like Neupas CADMATIC, Aviva, MS Project, MS Office etc.

Experience-

• The applicant must have a minimum of 15 years post-qualification managerial experience in

1. Shipbuilding or
2. Ship Design or
3. Ship repair or
4. Engineering companies or
5. Offshore Fabrication or
6. Petrochemical Industry or
7. Marine related Engineering companies or
8. Government / Semi-Government Companies / Establishments.

• Experience shall be in the areas of Design/drawing and calculation of machinery and piping of ships.
• In the case of applicants working in the regular cadre in PSUs/ Government/ Autonomous bodies, one year of experience shall be in the immediate lower scale of pay or equivalent. The applicants working in the private sector or on contract rolls in PSUs / Government/ Autonomous bodies shall be drawing CTC (only monetary/cash part) comparable to the immediate lower scale of pay of UCSL.

Desirable-

• 5 years shall be as a team lead or section head of a shipbuilding/offshore engineering-related project.
• Leading a team of design engineers and draftsmen in a Shipyard.

For Manager (Machinery)-

• The applicant must have a Degree in Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University.

Desirable-

• The applicant must be Proficient in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office etc.
• Marine engineer with Class 2 certificate of competency.

Experience-

• The applicant must have a minimum of 9 years post-qualification managerial experience in

1. Shipbuilding or
2. Ship repair or
3. Engineering companies or
4. Offshore Fabrication or
5. Petrochemical Industry or
6. Marine related Engineering companies or
7. Government / Semi-Government Companies / Establishments.

• The applicant must have experience in the areas of Machinery outfitting/Commissioning functions.
