UkPSC Recruitment 2023: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UkPSC), Haridwar has invited Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Group ‘B’ Posts 01) Assistant Planner and 02) Assistant Architect Planner in the Department of Town and Country Planning, Uttarakhand. There are 06 Vacancies to be filled up through Assistant Planner and Assistant Architect Planner Examination-2023.
All Group ‘B’ 06 Vacancies to be filled up are Permanent under the Pay Scale Level 10 (Rs.56100-177500) Per Month under the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued.
The Candidates who are Eligible and desire to apply may complete the Online Application Process before the Closing Dates notified in the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
The Crucial Dates in reference to the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification for the Candidates are hereunder:
i) Online Application Process may be completed up to 20th February 2023 (20.02.2023).
ii) Online Application Process with Online Remittance of the Application Fee may also be completed up to 20.02.2023
iii) The Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Fee involving therein Printout of the Online Application and Submission of the Educational Qualification and other Records is 3rd March 2023 (03.03.2023).
As per the UkPSC Recruitment 2023, there are 06 Vacancies for Assistant Planner and Assistant Architect Planner Posts as follows:

01) Assistant Planner: 05 Vacancies (including 04 Vacancies reserved for UR Category)
02) Assistant Architect Planner: 01 Vacancy (including 01 Vacancy reserved for UR Category)
Post Classification: Group B Gazetted/Permanent Contribution Pension Scheme
As per the UkPSC Recruitment 2023, the Pay Scale for the Posts Assistant Planner and Assistant Architect Planner
Pay Scale: Level 10: Rs.56100-177500 Per Month
01) Assistant Planner and 02) Assistant Architect Planner
As is notified vide the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, both Normal Age Limits and Maximum Age Limits prescribed for Un-Reserved Category and Reserved Community Candidates as on 01.07.2023 are explained hereunder:
i) The General Merit Candidates should be aged Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 42 Years.
ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Persons are as per the Government Rules mentioned in the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
According to the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, both Minimum Essential Qualifications and Preferential Qualifications prescribed for both Posts notified in the UkPSC Recruitment 2023:
01) Assistant Planner:
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Post-Graduate Degree in Urban and Regional Planning/Urban Planning/Regional Planning/ Traffic and Transport Planning/Housing from any Accredited Institution/University; Or M.Tech/Equivalent; Or
Bachelor in Planning/Bachelor of Technology in Planning or its Equivalent Educational Qualification from any Accredited Institution/University with 03 Years’ Work Experience in Urban and Regional Planning in the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory/ Recognized University/ Recognized Institution/Public Sector undertaking/Semi-Government Institution. Or
1-Associate Membership of Minimum One of the following Institutions:
A) Institute of town Planners (India).
B) American Institute of Town Planners.
C) Royal Institute of town Planners (London)
Preferential Qualification: Among other things, Preference in Direct Recruitment shall be given to the Candidates having in possession the following:
He/She must have
i) rendered Service for Minimum 02 Years in the Territorial Army
ii) obtained ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC)
02) Assistant Architect Planner:
Essential Educational Qualification:
1) Bachelor of Architecture from any Duly Recognized Institution/University; And
2) Post Graduate Degree in Urban and Regional Planning/Urban Planning/Regional Planning/ Traffic and Transport Planning/Housing from any Accredited Institution/University; Or M.Tech/Equivalent.
Preferential Qualification: Among other things, Preference in Direct Recruitment shall be given to the Candidates having in possession the following:
He/She must have
i) rendered Service for Minimum 02-Years in the Territorial Army
ii) obtained ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC)
As is notified in the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement Selection on Group ‘B’ Posts shall consist of 02 Stages explained hereunder:
Stage 1: Assistant Planner and Assistant Architect Planner Examination 2023 (termed as an Objective Type Screening Test) comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions with Negative Marking involved shall be conducted for shortlisting the Candidates for Interview. Stage 2: The Interview carries Maximum 100 Marks.
The Candidates appeared in the Interview should score the Minimum Qualifying Marks (i.e., General Merit/UR Category: 45 Marks and in the case of Scheduled Tribe Candidates 35%).
The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission shall draw up a Common Merit List for Final Selection of the Candidates under their respective Category/Communities.
As published in the UkPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, Payment of Examination Fee should be remitted Online through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.
I) Un-Reserved Category: Rs.176.55 (Application Fee: Rs. 150.00 Plus Rs.26.55 towards Processing Fee)
II) EWS/OBC Category: Rs.176.55 (Application Fee: Rs. 150.00 Plus Rs.26.55 towards Processing Fee)
III) Uttarakhand Resident SCs/STs: Rs.86.55 (Application Fee: Rs. 60.00 Plus Rs.26.55 towards Processing Fee)
