United Breweries Limited (UBL), India’s largest beer manufacturer and distributor, recently issued a disclosure to BSE Ltd and NSE Ltd regarding receipt of a direction order on March 5, 2026, from the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board.

The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board directed that the company’s brewery in Shahjahanpur must pay Rs 3,649,000 as an environmental penalty for causing pollution and depositing it at the RSPCB regional office in Kotputli-Behror.
