The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released the UP Board results for 2023 on 25th April 2023 at around 1:30 pm. Along with the result, the Board also released the list of toppers and important stats.

UP Board Result 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released the UP Board results for 2023 today, 25th April. The result for both classes 10th and 12th was declared through a press conference. The press conference started at around 1:30 pm. Soon after the press conference commencement, the result links for both classes 10th and 12th were activated by the UP board. Along with the result, the board released important stats regarding the performance of students. The Board also released the list of toppers for both classes 10th and 12th. Continuing the trend of the previous year, the girls have yet again outperformed boys in both classes 10th and 12th.
The UP board Chairman Shree Mahendra Dev, Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, and other board officials were present during the result declaration. He lauded the girls for their brilliant performance. This year 58,85,745 candidates registered for UP board examinations, comprising 31,16,487 class 10 students and 27,69,258 class 12 students. About 4,31,571 students including 2,08,953 class 10 students and 2,22,618 class 12 students, did not appear for the exam. The board checked more than 3 crore copies of the UP board exam from 18th March to 1st April 2023.
The pass percentage of UP board class 10th stands at 89.78%. The pass percentage of class 12th is 75.52%. Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur topped the UP board Class 10th exam 2023 with 98.33%. The UP board class 12th exam 2023 is topped by Shubh Chhabra of Mahoba. He scored 97.80% marks. The important stats regarding the UP Board Exam and result 2023 are mentioned below:

On comparing the result of both years, it is evident that the girls have performed better than the boys. The overall pass percentage has dipped for class 12th from 85.33% to 75.52% but has slightly increased for class 10th, from 88.18% to 89.78%.
