JEE Mains 2023 Result Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the results for the JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination Mains) 2023 session 2 exams. As per credible sources and media reports, the result will be declared either today or tomorrow, i.e., on the 24th or 25th of April 2023. The NTA will declare the session 2 exam results of JEE Mains 2023 on its official website. Once announced, candidates can view their results by visiting the official website.
Along with the results, the NTA will also release the final answer keys for the JEE Mains session 2 exams. Earlier, the NTA released the provisional answer key on 19th April 2023. Objections on answer keys were allowed until 21st April 2023. Now if any disputed question is dropped from the final answer key, then each candidate will be awarded marks for the same. As all other processes of the JEE Mains 2023 session 2 exam is over, it is likely that the result will be declared within days.
The JEE Mains 2023 Session 2 exams were held on various days due to a large number of appearing candidates. The session 2 examinations were held on 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 15th April 2023. Around 8 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Now these candidates are eagerly waiting for their results. Along with the result, the NTA will also release the category-wise, state-wise, gender-wise, and overall toppers list. The result will be available on the website up to 90 days after the result declaration date.
The JEE Mains Session 2 Scorecard will have several important details about the candidate, his/her performance, and the exam. The various details mentioned in the scorecard are given below:
Candidates clearing the JEE Mains 2023 session 2 exams will become eligible for the JEE Advanced exam, which is held for admission to IITs. Every year about the top 2,50,000 successful candidates of JEE Mains become eligible for the JEE Advanced exam. The NTA will release the cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam along with the result. Candidates can get a fair idea about the expected cutoff by observing the trends in previous year cutoffs. The cutoff percentile of previous years for various categories is tabulated below:
