UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has called in Online Applications from the Candidates meeting Eligibility for 02 Posts; viz., 01) Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer AND 02) Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner notified vide this UPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 577 Vacancies for the Posts 01) Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (418 Vacancies) AND 02) Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (159 Vacancies). As is notified in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification the Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labor & Employment under Pay Scale 08 and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Pay Scale 10 in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Ministry of Labor & Employment, Government of India.
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, Notified 577 Vacancies to be filled in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labor & Employment (MoLE):

According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Pay Scales Applicable to both Posts are as follows:
Pay Scale Levels:
01: Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (Group- ‘B’, Non-Ministerial): Pay Scale Level 08
02: Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner: (Group- ‘A’, Non-Ministerial) Pay Scale Level 10
Upper Age Limits under UPSC Recruitment 2023:
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates should be aged as hereunder:
01: Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer:
General (UR) Merit Candidates should be Maximum 30 Years.
02: Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner:
General (UR) Merit Candidates should be Maximum 35 Years.
Note: Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits in the case of Reserved Community applicable are explained in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
According to the USPC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Eligibility Mandatory and Relevant to the Posts are hereunder:
01: Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any Subject from the Accredited University/Equivalent.
02: Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from the Accredited University/Equivalent.
Desirable: Diploma in Company Law/Labor Laws/Public Administration.
Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry out the Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria with reference to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification and are also explained hereunder:
Recruitment Methodology:
In the event of the Applications received relatively in a large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria to restrict the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:
a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs) if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.
b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 Notification.
c) Based on Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquiring Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.
e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).
f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).
Note-II: Important Points:
Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks explained hereunder:
i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:
a) Un-Reserved Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks
b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks
c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks
d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.
ii) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.
Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:
I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.
II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
According to the UPSC Recruitment Notification 2023, the Willing Candidates should complete the Online Recruitment Application Process following Instructions therein:
i) Eligible and Willing Candidates should visit the USPC ORA Website to complete the Online Recruitment Application Process.
ii) Carefully Read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal.
iii) Initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal.
iv) Upload Scanned Signature, Photograph for uploading with Online Recruitment Application.
v) Upload Self-attested Documents on the UPSC Online Registration of Application.
vi) Remit the Application Fee Online through any of the Payment Gateway Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.
