UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has sought Online Applications from the Persons duly Eligible for the Post of Assistant Labor Commissioner in the Labor Department, Government of NCT of Delhi vide the UPSC Recruitment 2023.

As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is 01 Vacancy to be filled with Recruitment in Assistant Labor Commissioner Post in the Pay Scale Level 10  (Rs.56100-Rs. 177500).  The Assistant Labor Commissioner Post is reserved for EWS Category Candidates only.

Among the Eligible Candidates, willing to be Applicants for the UPSC Recruitment may complete the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) Process up to 12th January 2023 (12.01.2023), the Last Date.

Note-I: While completing the Online Application Process, Eligible Candidates should fill their respective Qualifications and Experience in the relevant Field over and above the Minimum Qualifications in Online Recruitment Applications available on the UPSC ORA Link as has also been mentioned in the subsequent Part of the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.

Posting Location: The National Capital Territory of Delhi

Pay Scale Level for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Pay Scale: Level-10 (Rs.56100-Rs. 177500) of Pay Matrix under 7th CPC (Pre-revised GP Rs.5400 under Pay Band-3 of Rs.15600- Rs.39100)

Post-Selection, the Candidate shall be appointed in the Pay Scale 10 mentioned hereinabove.

Upper Age Limits under UPSC Recruitment 2023:

1) The Applicant should be Maximum 35 Years as on the Closing Date 12.01.2023.

2) The Upper Age Limit remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3) For Age concession applicable to some other Categories of Applicants (Refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection’) of the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria for the USPC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential as per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement for the Applicants are as follows:

A) Educational Qualification(s):

i) Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) from any of the UGC Accredited Universities or Equivalent Institute.

ii) Degree in Law/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Social Work/Labor Welfare Laws/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management from the Accredited University/Institution/Equivalent Institute.

B) Experience: 03 (Three) Years’ Experience in a responsible capacity in handling/dealing with Labour Problems in any Government Establishment/Industry/ Trade Union Organization.

Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi and/or Urdu

Note: The Qualifications, in case of Candidates otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Union Public Service Commission shall conduct the Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria vide the UPSC Recruitment 2023 and also explained hereunder:

Recruitment Methodology:

In the event of the Applications received relatively in a large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria aimed at restricting the number of only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:

a) “On the basis of Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs) if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.

b) Based on Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification.

c) On the basis of Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquiring Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.

e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).

Note-II: Important Points:

Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks explained hereunder:

i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:

a) Un-Reserved Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks

b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks

c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks

d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.

ii) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.

Application Fee for USPC Recruitment 2023:

a) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

b) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from the Application Fee.

How to Apply for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

i) Eligible and Willing Candidates should visit the USPC ORA Website for completing the Online Application Process.

ii) Carefully Read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal.

iii) Initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal.

iv) Scan Signature and the Most-recent Passport-size Photograph for uploading with Online Registered Application (ORA).

v) Ready Self-attested Documents to be uploaded UPSC Online Registration of Application.
