Qualification and Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience for the particular posts are mentioned below-

For Dangerous Goods Inspector-

• Candidates should have a Degree in any discipline.
• Candidates having undergone a Category-6 Dangerous Goods Training course duly approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Experience-

• Candidates should have a total experience of seven years.
• Candidates should have Two years of experience as Dangerous Goods Instructor of a training organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. And
• Candidates should have Five years of experience in handling air cargo in scheduled operations.

For Foreman (Chemical)-

• Candidates should have a Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year of experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization. OR
• Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from any recognized University. OR
• Candidates should have an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Chemical plus one year of experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization.

For Deputy Assistant Director (Forensic Science)-

• Candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University.

Experience-

• Candidate should have 01 year of experience teaching on the subject in a recognized University or one year of analytical experience in the Centre for Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) or State or in the Forensic Laboratory of Union Territory or one year of analytical experience from a recognized University.

For Assistant Public Prosecutor-

• Candidate should have a Degree in Law from a recognized University.

For Unani Physician-

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Unani Medicine from a recognized University Statutory State Board Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine recognized under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020 (14 of 2020).
• Candidate should be enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As informed by the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the decision of selection will be made by Recruitment Test followed by an interview.  Candidates will receive 50 points for UR/EWS, 45 points for OBC, and 40 points for SC/ST/PwBD out of a total of 100 points for the interview.

As given in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the application fee is Rs.25 and Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates are exempted from payment of a fee.
