Candidates must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to UPSC Recruitment 2024 as indicated below-

For Specialist Grade III (Cardiology)-

• The candidate should have a recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
• The candidate should have a Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A Schedule VI of CHS Rules from a recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Cardiology) or Diplomate National Board (Cardiology).

Experience-

• The candidate should have Three years of experience in the concerned specialty or Super-Speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.

For Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Experience-
• The candidate should have at least three years of research experience in Civil Engineering related to Hydraulics/ Coastal and Harbor /Water Resources/Geotechnical.

For Assistant Director (Official Language)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• The candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• The candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level. OR
• The candidate should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

Experience-

• The candidate should have Three years of experience using or applying Terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature under the Central or State Governments or Autonomous Body or Statutory Organisations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or recognized research or educational institutions. OR
• The candidate should have Three years experience of teaching in Hindi and English or researching in Hindi or English under Central or State Governments or Autonomous bodies Statutory Organisations Public Sector undertakings Universities or recognized research or educational institutions.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have studied one of the languages other than Hindi included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution at the 10th standard level from a recognized Board.

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The selection of UPSC Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of a Recruitment Test followed by an interview. UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of the interview being 100.

Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The application fee is Rs.25 to complete the application for UPSC Recruitment 2024. The Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates are exempted from payment of a fee.
