WBPSC Recruitment 2023: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) invites online applications from eligible and willing candidates for the post of Director of Horticulture under the Department of Food Processing Industries and Horticulture, Govt. of West Bengal on a temporary basis but likely to be permanent. According to the official notification of WBPSC Recruitment 2023, there is only 01 vacant seat open for the above-mentioned post. The maximum age limit is 55 years. The selected candidates should get a monthly salary on Pay Level 21.
According to the official notification of WBPSC Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a screening test/interview. Only those candidates will be called for the interview who qualify the screening test. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website on or before the last date. The application fee is Rs.210 and SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having a physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. As mentioned in the official notification of WBPSC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary on Pay Level 21 of Rs.123100- Rs.191800 as per WBS.
In accordance with the official notification of WBPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a Screening Test/Interview. Marks obtained in the Screening Test will only be considered for the selection of candidates for interview for the purpose of restricting the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit.
As per the official notification of WBPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs.210 as an application fee. The SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. OBC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay the usual fee as aforesaid. No exemption of fee is available to SC/ST candidates of another state. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
