We are confident that conditions around July 5 will be conducive for holding exams ICAI In an interview given by ICAI President Nihar Jambusaria to BussinessLine, the president said that he is confident that conditions around July 5 will be conducive for holding exams ICAI. He Also Added " the Second wave is now on the receding side. Doctors and scientists are hoping that the third wave will not be there before October. Let us hope it is not there at all. We are not going to conduct exams in violations of any rules that government makes. Last time also some students went to Supreme Court. We were able to convince the apex court that all rules and guidelines were being followed and Covid-19 protocols were being adhered to at our examination centers. Normally we would have 475-500 examination centers. Last time we had 1,084 exam centers. This year also we will follow all rules laid down by Health Ministry and Home Ministry. We will not violate any rules and conduct exams. I don’t think there will be legal challenges this time around." Link for the Full Interview
