West Bengal Govt Extends Deadline for Sales Tax Dispute Settlement Scheme

The government of West Bengal has recently issued a notification providing significant relief to the taxpayers under the Sales Tax Dispute Settlement Scheme. As per the notification No. 395-F.T. dated 27th February, 2026, the due date for filing the application for settlement under section 5 of the West Bengal Sales Tax (Settlement of Dispute) Act, 1999, has now been extended to March 30, 2026.
