Eligibility Criteria for Western Railway Recruitment 2022

Qualification:

Essential:

1. a. Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories.

1. b. 50%marks are not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ Ex. Servicemen / Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates and in case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification

NOTE: Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.

or

2. Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT / SCVT for technical categories.

or

3. Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT for technical categories.

Desirable:

1. Valid Certificate showing experience in the field and performance are given on AIR / Doordarshan etc.

2. Valid Certificate showing Prizes won in competitions held at National Level by Concerned Academy / recognized by Government.

Age Limit:

Between 18 to 30 years

Rs 19,900 – 63,200 per month
