Taxpayers face GST Portal glitches amid GSTR-1 filing due date Multiple users are reporting across India that various glitches are coming on the GST Portal, especially related to GSTR-1 filing. This is happening when the due date for filing GSTR-1 is looming around. The Due Date to file GSTR-1, the statement of outward supply for the month of December 2024 is 11th January 2025. Also for the Quarterly Return monthly payment (QRMP) Scheme, the due date for filing GSTR-1 for the quarter-ending December 2024 is 13th January 2025. Mr. Kaushal Modi has complaint to GSTN: Facing issues with the GST website not functioning properly. It’s causing delays in filing returns and compliance. Kindly address the problem at the earliest. Mr. Sarthak Varshney writes: Facing issues while uploading documents on the GST portal. Despite meeting all requirements, the upload isn't successful. An error is also occurring while filling out NIL GSTR-1 for December 2024. Additionally, this time tax professionals need to take extra care while GSTR-1 filing, as e-invoices were not generated between the morning of December 31 and 4:00 PM. GSTN has acknowledged the issue being faced regarding GSTR-1 summary generation and its filing. They have informed that their team is working on it and same will be fixed shortly.
