EPFO has released its Payroll Data on 20th of each month since April, 2018. Number of new female EPF Subscribers enrolled during the last quarter is 7,63,687.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has been releasing its Pay Roll Data on the 20th of each month since April, 2018 (covering the period beginning in September, 2017). This data shows the number of new subscribers joining the EPF through an Aadhaar-validated Universal Account Number (UAN), the number of existing subscribers leaving, and the number of subscribers who previously left and returned as new subscribers.
As per latest published payroll (on 20th November, 2023) for the month of September, 2023, the State/UT-wise details of enrollments of new EPF subscribers for the months of the last Quarter (from the wage month of July, 2023 to September, 2023) are given below.
The cumulative number of new female EPF Subscribers enrolled during the last quarter is 7,63,687. According to the most recent Payroll report, the establishments providing expert services accounted for the largest percentage of newly enrolled EPF subscribers (38%) followed by Trading-commercial establishments, Building and Construction Industry, Electrical, Mechanical, and General Engineering Products, and Engineers-Engineering Contractors.
When an insured worker loses their job, they are eligible to receive unemployment benefits under the Atal BeemitVyakti Kalyan Yojana (ABVKY) being administered by the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), subject to certain requirements. The ABVKY's unemployment benefit, which is payable for up to 90 days and is now 50% rather than 25% of average daily earnings, has also relaxed the requirements for insured workers to be eligible to receive it.
