ICAI removes names of 16 Chartered Accountants from members register

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI] has removed names of 16 Chartered Accountants removed form members register. The Names are as follows:

• CA. S Shankar (Membership No. 040476), 1-A, Srivari Shresht, 309, West Periasamy Road, R S Puram, COIMBATORE 641 002, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of aforesaid CA. S Shankar (Membership No. 040476), from the Register of Members for a period of 06(Six) months and also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only to be paid within 30 days and in case of default in payment of fine within stipulated time his name shall be removed for additional 1(one) month period.
• CA. Avdhesh Mittal (Membership No. 083360), E-582, Greater Kailash, New Delhi 110 048, guilty of ‘Other Misconduct’ falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Avdhesh Mittal (Membership No. 083360) from the Register of Members for a period of 45(Forty five) days and also imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand)
• CA. Gaurav Agarwal (Membership No. 505241), AC-174A, Gound Floor, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi 110 088, guilty of ‘Other Misconduct’ falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of CA. Gaurav Agarwal (Membership No. 505241) from the Register of Members for a period of 1(One) month and also imposed a fine of Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand)
• CA. Shri Kishan Gupta (Membership No. 084077), 215, Gulmohar Enclave, NEW DELHI 110 049, guilty of Professional and other Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (1) of Part II of the Second Schedule and Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of aforesaid CA. Shri Kishan Gupta (Membership No. 084077), from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year and also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh)
• CA. Ravindra M C (Membership No. 019751), II Floor, 592, III Cross, H M T Layout, BENGALURU 560 032, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (1) of Part II of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for imposing a fine of Rs. 1000/- for each case of audit conducted in excess of the number stipulated in the Guidelines which aggregates to Rs. 4,90,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Ninety Thousand) only which was payable within 3 months from the date of receipt of the said order.

Dinesh Gopalrao Malpathak (Membership No. 006427) 1, Vatsala Niwas, Gole Colony, Near Gupte Hospital, NASHIK 422 002, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clauses (7) & (9) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of aforesaid CA. Dinesh Gopalrao Malpathak (Membership No. 006427) from the Register of Members for a period of 06(Six) months and also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh)

Anugrah Srivastava (Membership No. 073264), from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year

Ankit Daga (Membership No. 419176) from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year.

Suresh Kumar Goklani (Membership No. 075009), 11/704, Chopasani Housing Board, JODHPUR 342 008, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently ordered for removal of the name of aforesaid CA.
