The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has rescheduled dates for a number of courses, including BA-BEd and BSc-BEd integrated courses, BPEd and LLB three-year courses, and MPEd and LLB five-year integrated courses as the common law entrance exam (five-year LLB) in Maharashtra CET on June 10 clashing with a CBSE 12th board examination date.

Uday Samant, Maharashtra’s Minister of Higher Education and Technical Education, said on April 21 (Thursday) that the Maharashtra CET 2022 will henceforth be held in the first week of August 2022.

A 17-year-old Delhi twin pair had filed two written representations to the MH Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, the most recent on April 18, over the collision of dates of the very qualifying exams with the entrance test, through their Army officer father Kedar Gokhale.

They received a letter from the on Sunday, stating that their concerns about the CBSE and entrance exam clash were unfounded “The State CET Cell has taken note”. According to the Cell, the new revised dates may conflict with other competitive exams. “Because numerous examinations are held at the same time, clashes between CET and other examinations cannot be ruled out, and the CET Cell will not alter the suggested dates.”

The deadline for submitting application forms for the BA-BEd, BSc BEd Four Year Integrated Course is now April 26, and the exam will be held on June 6, 2022, according to the new timetable. Students can apply for the LLB three-year programme until April 29th, and the exam will be held on June 4-5, 2022.

The application process for BEd (General and Special) with ELCT for English medium colleges will close on April 29, and the test will be held on June 6-7. The application period for the three-year combined BEd-MEd programme will end on April 27, and the exam will be held on June 9. Similarly, the MEd test will be held on the same day, but applications will close one day earlier, on April 26.

Students interested in the LLB-Five-Year Integrated Course can submit an application until May 2 for the exam, which will now be held on June 18-19, 2022.

Due to a scheduling conflict with JEE-Main and NEET 2022, the MH CET has been postponed. Originally, the Maharashtra CET was scheduled to take place between June 11 and 28, 2022. JEE-Main will be held from June 20 to 29, 2022, according to the new timetable. It had been planned to take place in the month of May. NEET 2022 will take place in July.
