Indian Army Recruitment 2022: The Directorate General of Recruiting (DGR)/ Integrated Head Quarter (IHQ), Indian Army has invited Applications from Male Candidates meeting the Eligibility in reference to Recruitment of the Engineering Graduates for the 137th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-137) commencing in July 2023 in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Among Eligible Candidates, those who are willing to submit their respective Candidatures in respect of Male Engineering Graduates for the 137th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-137) may apply as per Instructions. 15th December 2022 (15.12.2022) is the Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Recruitment Application Process.

Note: Those who have completed the Engineering Degree Course or are in the Final Year of the Engineering Degree Course are Eligible to apply. The Candidates pursuing Study in the Final Year of the Engineering Degree Course should be able to submit Proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination with their respective Engineering Examination Result, Marksheets of all Semesters/Years by 1st July 2023 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 Weeks from the Date of Commencement of Training to commence in the Indian Military Academy (IMA).

Selection Methodology: The Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence (MoD) Indian Army at their discretion will allot Selection Center for the Candidates. The Candidates will be put through 02 Stage Selection Procedure. Those who clear Stage 1 will put to undergo Stage 2.

Selection Process: Selection with reference to 137th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-137) commencing in July 2023 shall be conducted through 02 Stages; i.e., Stage 1 (Shortlisting Process). Only Eligible Shortlisted Candidates depending on the Cutoff Percentage will be summoned to be Interviewed at one of the Selection Centers; viz., Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Kapurthala (Punjab) by the Psychologist, Group Testing Officer (GTO) and Interviewing Officer (IO).

The Directorate General of Recruiting, the Indian Army, and Respective Selection Centers shall issue Call Up Letters for the SSB Interview. Respective Selection Centers shall intimate the Shortlisted Candidates through Registered E-mail Identification and SMS only.

Training: The Selected Candidates shall be detailed for Training in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun according to their Positions in the final order of merit (Engineering Stream-wise) up to the Number of Available Vacancies and subject to meeting all Eligibility Criteria.

Types of Commission: There are 02 types of Commissions; viz., a) Grant of Commission (Short Service Commission) and Permanent Commission (PC).

a) Grant of Commission: The Selected Candidates would be granted Short Service Commission on Probation in the Lieutenant Rank of from the Date of commencement of the Training Course or the Date of reporting in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, whichever is Later and will be entitled to Full Pay and Allowances Admissible to Lieutenant during the Training Period. Pay and Allowances will be paid only after the Successful Completion of the Training.

b) Permanent Commission: On successful completion of the Training, the Cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the Rank of Lieutenant.

c) Ante-Date Seniority: One Year Ante Date Seniority from the Date of Commission the Engineering Graduates of the TGC Entry will be granted the Rank of Lieutenant.

How to Apply for the Indian Army Recruitment 2022

Step 1: Visit the Indian Army Website.

Step 2: Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then Click ‘Registration’ (If the Candidate is already registered on Join Indian Army, then Registration is not required).

Step 3: Fill the Online Registration Form after Carefully reading the Instructions. After Registration, Click on ‘Apply Online’ under the Dashboard.

Step 4: A Page Officers Selection ‘Eligibility’ will open. Then Click ‘Apply’ shown against Technical Graduate Course.

Step 5: A Page ‘Application Form’ will open. Carefully Read the Instructions and Click ‘Continue’ to fill up the details as required under various Segments-Personal Information, Communication Details, Education Details and the Details of the previous SSB. ‘Save & Continue each time before you go to the Next Segment.

Subsequent to filling the details on the Last Segment, you will move to a Page ‘Summary of your Information’ wherein you may check and edit the Entries already done. Only after ascertaining the correctness of Individual Candidature Details, Click on ‘Submit’. The Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the Application for editing any details.

Step 6: Take out 02 (Two) Copies of the Individual Application having a Roll Number, 30 Minutes after the Final Closure of the Online Application on the Last Day.

The Candidate should upload the following Documents with the Online Application Form:

a) High School (10th Class) Certificate and Marksheet in original presenting the Date of Birth (DoB).

b) Secondary School (12th Class) Certificate and the Marksheet in Original.

c) Identity Proof in Original.

d) Certificate issued by the Principal/Head of the Institution stating that the Candidate is studying in the Final Year and his Result will be declared by 1st July 2023 (01.07.20230

e) The Controller of Examinations/Registrar In-charge/Dean issued Certificate Marksheet, Certificate, etc.

Note: Second Copy of the Online Application Printout should be retained by the Candidate for his Reference. There is No Need to send any Hard Copy of the Application Printout to the Directorate General of Recruiting (DGR).

e) Two Self-attested Photocopies of the Certificates mentioned at will need to be submitted during the SSB Interview and the SSB post Document Verification will return the Originals to the Candidates.

f) 20 Copies of Self-attested Passport (PP) size Photograph along with the Application Form.

g) The Candidates must submit only One Application.
