Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), Government of India has invited Applications in respect of the Officers Eligible for Appointment on 02 Posts; viz., 01) Senior Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) and 02) Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). The Cadre Controlling Authority/Employers (Proper Channel) may forward the Names of the Eligible Officers with Willingness to be Applicants for the Posts notified in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose.
As is notified in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, there are 08 Vacancies (Tentative and Variable) to be filled up By Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract. The Employer Concerned may forward within 06 Week Post-issuance of this Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Notification the Names of the Officers Eligible with Willingness to volunteer in the event of Selection.

01) Senior Development Officer (Engg) Post:
Pay Level-12 (Rs. 78800-209200)
2) Development Officer (Engg) Post:
Pay Level-11 (Rs.67700-209200)
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Notification entails the Maximum Age Limit for both Posts as follows:
Maximum Age: Not to exceed 56 Years
01) Senior Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (ISTC):
The Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Bodies:
A.I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or
II) with 05-Years’ Service in the Grade rendered after Appointment thereto on a Regular basis in Pay Level 11 in the Pay Matrix/Equivalent in the Parent Cadre/Department; And
B) Having in possession the following Educational Qualifications and Service Experience:
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering from Accredited University/Institute with 10 (Ten) Years’ Practical Experience in the Post relevant Domain.
Desirable: 02 Years’ Experience in the Industrial Undertaking exploring Latest Trends/ Techniques in Engineering/Manufacturing Technology with special reference to the Indian conditions and in Techno-Economic Assessment of Industrial Projects.
02) Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (ISTC):
The Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Bodies:
A.I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or
II) with 05-Years’ Service in the Grade rendered after Appointment thereto on a Regular basis in Pay Level 10 in the Pay Matrix/Equivalent in the Parent Cadre/Department; And
B) Having in possession the following Educational Qualifications and Service Experience:
Essential:
I. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering from Accredited University/Institute with 10 (Ten) Years’ Practical Experience in the Post relevant Domain.
Desirable: 05 Years’ Experience in the Industrial Undertaking exploring Latest Trends/ Techniques in Engineering/Manufacturing Technology with special reference to the Indian conditions and in Techno-Economic Assessment of Industrial Projects.
Selection on the Posts 1) Senior Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (ISTC) and 2) Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (ISTC) shall be carried through by Deputation entailing Viva voce.
Post-Selection as Senior Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (ISTC) and Development Officer (Engineering) Deputation (ISTC) shall be issued Posting in Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) or Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) Based on Vacancies and Administrative Exigency.
The Deputation Tenure including Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 04 (Four) Years, which shall ordinarily not exceed.
