SAIL Recruitment 2023: Burnpur Hospital has announced a Walk-In-Interview for the temporary engagement of Nursing Tutors. The engagement period will be for a year, which may be extended for another year or till fresh permanent recruitment, depending on the candidate’s performance. As per SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate shall be eligible for a consolidated stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month, based on actual attendance during the engagement period. The date of the interview is scheduled for 29th April 2023 (Saturday) at Confluence, Opp. to Burnpur Post Office, Near Bharti Bhawan, P.O. Burnpur -713325, DT: Paschim Bardhhaman, Asansol, West Bengal. The reporting time is from 09.00 AM to 11.30 AM, and candidates are required to carry documents in original and their photocopies.
Candidates applying for the post of Nursing Tutor must have a BSc (Nursing) / PB BSc (Nursing) / MSc (Nursing) or a Diploma in Nursing Education & Administration with two years of professional experience. The candidate must be registered under the Nursing Council and possess a valid Registration Certificate. The upper age limit for General candidates is 35 years as on 29.04.2023, 38 years for OBC Candidates, and 40 years for ST & SC Candidates. PH candidates are eligible till 50 years for SC/ST, 48 years for OBC, and 45 years for UR as on 29.04.2023.
As per SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection of Nursing Tutors will be based on the performance of the candidates in the walk-in interview, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The selected candidate shall be required to produce all the testimonials and certificates of relevant qualifications, and the medical fitness will be examined by the Medical Officer of Burnpur Hospital. The engagement period will be purely temporary for a year, and the stipend will be Rs. 30,000 per month. The candidate shall not be entitled to any other payment other than what has been mentioned above.

As per SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the Nursing Tutor position at Burnpur Hospital are as follows:
a) Age Limit: The upper age limit for General candidates is 35 years as on 29.04.2023. For OBC candidates, the upper age limit is 38 years as on 29.04.2023. For ST & SC candidates, the upper age limit is 40 years as on 29.04.2023. PH candidates have varying age limits, with 50 years for SC/ST, 48 years for OBC, and 45 years for UR as on 29.04.2023. Retired employees of any SAIL unit are subject to age limit rules.
b) Medical Fitness: The selected candidates will be examined by the Medical Officer of Burnpur Hospital, SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur, for medical fitness. Only those who have been declared fit for engagement will be allowed to join.
c) Testimonials and Certificates: The candidate selected for the Nursing Tutor position must produce all the testimonials and certificates of relevant qualifications (matriculation onwards) during the interview.
d) Required Qualifications: Candidates applying for the position of Nursing Tutor must have completed Intermediate (10+2) from any university or institution recognized by the Central or State Govt. They should have a B.Sc. (Nursing) / PB BSc (Nursing) / MSc (Nursing) degree from a recognized Institute/college affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and even freshers are eligible. Alternatively, they may have a Diploma in Nursing Education & Administration with two years of professional experience. The candidate must be registered under Nursing Council and possess a valid Registration Certificate.

As per SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the engagement is purely on a temporary basis for a period of one year, which may be extended for another year with a mandatory gap of 10 days or till fresh permanent recruitment, whichever is earlier.
