ISRO Recruitment 2023: ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) is inviting applications for various posts, including Technical Assistants and Technicians. The vacancies are for various disciplines such as Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Civil, Fitter, Electronic Mechanic, Welder, Refrigeration & AC, Electrician, Plumber, and Draughtsman. As per the ISRO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the total number of vacancies available is 63, including reserved vacancies for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections. Technical Assistant (Electronics & Communication)

Candidates should have First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering (or) Electronics & Communication Engineering (or) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (or) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

Technical Assistant (Electrical)

Candidates should have First Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Technical Assistant (Computer Science)

Candidates should have First Class Diploma in Computer Science (or) Computer Science & Engineering (or) Computer Technology

Technical Assistant (Civil)

Age Limit for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As per the ISRO Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should have crossed the age of 18 years and the maximum age limit for all posts except the Fireman A post is 35 years and the maximum age limit for the post of Fireman A is 25 years.

Mode of Selection for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As per ISRO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the mode of selection for the posts of Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’ is a Written Test followed by a Skill Test that is curriculum-based. The Written Test will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in various cities, and the candidates must choose their preferred city while submitting their online application. The scores obtained in the Written Test will be the basis for the final selection. In case of a tie in Written Test scores, the academic scores of the prescribed qualification will be the tiebreaker. The Skill Test will be conducted on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, and the marks obtained in the Skill Test will not be considered for the final selection. However, the mode of selection may change according to the orders of the Government of India/DOS/ISRO from time to time.

For the posts of Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ and Light Vehicle Driver ‘A,’ the mode of selection is a Written Test followed by a Skill Test, which will be a Driving Test. The Written Test will also be conducted as a CBT in various cities, and the candidates must choose their preferred city while submitting their online application. The scores obtained in the Written Test will be the basis for the final selection, and in case of a tie, the academic scores of the prescribed qualification will be the tiebreaker. The Skill Test will be conducted on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, and the marks obtained in the Skill Test will not be considered for the final selection.

For the post of Fireman ‘A,’ the mode of selection is a Written Test followed by a Skill Test that includes a Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination. The Written Test will be conducted online as a CBT in various cities, and the candidates must choose their preferred city while submitting their online application. The scores obtained in the Written Test will be the basis for the final selection, and in case of a tie, the academic scores of the prescribed qualification will be the tiebreaker. The Skill Test will be conducted on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, and the marks obtained in the Skill Test will not be considered for the final selection.
