Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Office of the Registrar General, India, New Delhi, and Directorates of Census Operations (DCOs) are inviting applications through proper channels for the post of Stenographer Grade-I on a deputation/absorption basis. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 26 posts in Pay Band, Pay Scale, and Grade Pay which may vary depending upon the workload. The selected candidates will be placed at HQ/DCOs all over the country. Interested and eligible candidates must apply in the prescribed format within 60 days of the circular’s publication in Employment News. The circular is available on the official website of the Census of India.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023, the eligible candidates must route their applications through the proper channel and attach self-attested supporting certificates and documents for qualification and experience claimed by the candidates. Moreover, the applications must be accompanied by a vigilance clearance certificate and an integrity certificate. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023, the pay of the officers selected for the post will be regulated in terms of the Department of Personnel and Training’s OM No.2/8/97-Estt.(Pay-110) dated 11.03.1998 and as amended from time to time. The period of deputation for the post of Stenographer Grade-I shall not exceed three years, and the maximum age limit for appointment on deputation should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications through proper channels.
