Selection Process under JKPSC Recruitment 2023:

The JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Selection Process to be carried through in terms of Rule 45 of the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business and Procedure) Rules 2021, as amended up-to-date.

Selection to the JKPSC notified Assistant Professor Posts consists of 02 Stages, i.e., Stage 1: Competitive Written Test for Maximum 70 Points, Academic Merit; Academic Merit for 12 Points Stage 2: Viva voce for 18 Points to be read in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.

The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission will conduct on 02.07.2023 a Competitive Written Examination for 70 Points aimed at shortlisting Candidates for Selection on the Assistant Professor Posts for Appointment in 53 Faculty Departments in the Government Degree College under the Higher Education Department.

I) Written Examination: 70 Points

II) Academic Merit: 11 (03+08) Points

III) Special Attributes: Research and Publications: 02 Points

IV) Awards: 03 Points

V) Experience: 02 Points

Examination Fee for JKPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Candidates shall need to remit the Online Examination Fee prescribed hereunder:

01) Open Merit Candidates: Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand only)

02) Reserved Community Candidates: Rs.500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only)

03) PwBDs Candidates remain exempted from payment of the Examination Fee: Nil
