Post Name and Vacancy for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, qualified applicants are encouraged to apply on a regular basis for the position of Professor (Ras Shastra), Class-I. There is only 01 seat available for the aforementioned position.

Qualification for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s required qualification is given below:
Essential Qualification-

• The applicants must have a B.A.M.S.
• The applicants must have a PG Degree in a particular branch of speciality from any recognized University establishment by Law or the degree recognized by CCIM or HP Government; and
• The applicants must have studied Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the course of a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda. 
• The applicants must have teaching experience of 15 years after post-graduation out of which 06 years as a Reader in the concerned subject. 

Desirable Qualification-

• The candidates should have knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Other Qualification-

• The candidates should have done PG in Ras-Shastra in order to apply for the post of Professor (Ras-Shastra).

Age Limitation for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s minimum age limit for the mentioned position should be 18 years and the maximum age limit should be 45 years.

Salary for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be paid a monthly salary upto Rs.39100.

• The selected applicants for the post of Professor (Ras Shastra) will given a monthly salary of Rs.15600 to Rs.39100 with (GP 6600).

Mode of Selection for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s selection will be based on a Screening/Preliminary Exam and personality test. The informations are mentioned below-

For Paper- I-

A 01 hour computer-based or offline screening test consisting of 50 questions worth 100 points as follows-

• General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh = 30 Marks
• General knowledge of National and International Affairs= 30 Marks
• Knowledge of the Hindi language = 20 Marks
• Knowledge of the English language = 20 Marks

For Paper-II-

A Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of 03 hours duration and 120 marks, as determined by the Commission from time to time.

Application Fee for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicants must pay an application fee of up to Rs.400. The application fee will be paid online using a debit/credit card, a UPI, or any online digital channel. Once paid, the examination fee cannot be refunded.
