ICAI SPMT Portal Under Maintenance: Major Dates Students Must Know
The Examination Department of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) shared an important announcement on March 13, 2026, regarding the Self-Paced Module Test (SPMT).
ICAI announced that due to maintenance and upgradation of the SPMT portal software, the Self-Paced Online Module Tests will not be held between April 11, 2026 to April 20, 2026. During this period, students will not be able to take these tests.
The institute also clarified that the slot booking facility for SPMT will restart from April 21, 2026, onwards, after the system updates are completed.
SPMT (Self-Paced Module Tests) are a part of ICAI’s new education and training scheme. These are compulsory online tests that CA Final students must clear in order to become eligible to appear for their final examinations.
