Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Receives Income Tax Order for AY 2023-24 with Rs 6.78 Cr Demand Plans to File Appeal and Says No Major Impact on Business

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited let both BSE and NSE know that it went out and got an assessment order from the Income Tax Department. This update follows the rules under regulation 30 of SEBI listing obligations along with the usual SEBI circular and schedule 3 of important disclosures.

The assessment order showed up on April 27, 2026, covering the 2023–24 assessment year. It was passed under Section 143(3) with Sections 144C(3) and 144B of the Income-tax Act. According to the order, the department raised a tax demand of INR 67,799,430. That amount’s mostly because the authorities added back income and didn’t allow some expenses the company claimed. Basically, these changes came out of their assessment process.

Right now, the company says the order does not include any penalties, restrictions, or sanctions. Still, some disallowances and additions have been made under various sections of the Income-tax Act. The company is getting ready to appeal the order and says it is confident about its case, expecting to contest the demand and overturn the adjustments.

As far as finances and operations go, the company checked the impact and says there is no major effect on its financial position, business, or day-to-day activities. Even though the demand is pretty clear in the notice, the company believes the appeal will turn out in its favor.

They were also confirmed that all disclosures are complete and filed in “Form A” (Annexure-1) with extra details in Annexure-2, as per the SEBI requirements. The company declares all information is accurate to the best of its knowledge, and the whole update is also available on its official website.
