ICAI Reinstates 1,475 CAs to Register of Members: Full Details and Effective Dates OUT

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has restored the names of 1475 chartered accountants (CAs) to its Register of Members. Each member’s restoration is effective from the specific date mentioned against their name, with dates mainly ranging between 2023 and 2024.

The Council of ICAI has announced the aforementioned decision in exercise of its powers granted under Regulation 20 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, through a Notification No. 3NCA(5)/2/2023-2024, dated March 21, 2026.

This restoration into the Register of Members means the concerned individuals have regained their status as members of the ICAI and have been granted permission to continue practising their profession as Chartered Accountants.
