Subject: Relaxation of additional fees and extension of last date of filing e form CRA-2 (Form of intimation of appointment of cost auditor by the company to Central Government) in certain cases under the Companies Act , 2013 reg.

Sir / Madam ,

The Ministry has received several representations about extension of last date for filing e-form CRA-2 without additional fees where the company has been mandated to get its cost records audited for the first time under Companies Act, 2013 on account of Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Amendment Rules, 2018 as notified vide G.S.R. l 157(E) dated 03.12.2018.

2. The matter has been examined and it has been decided to extend the last date for filing of e-form CRA-2 in the above mentioned cases without payment of additional fees upto 05.2019.

3. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
