AAI Recruitment 2023: The Airports Authority of India, Western Region, has released an advertisement seeking specialized skills in ATM-related matters for a Consultant on a contract basis. According to AAI Recruitment 2023 Notification the engagement of a Consultant is required for a period of one year in the ATM discipline of the Airports Authority of India, Western Region, at various stations mentioned in the advertisement. As per AAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are a total of 14 vacancies for the post, and the last date for the submission of applications is 16/04/2023.
As per AAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the post include retired ATCOs (from AAI) from the level of E-7/E-6 (Jt. General Manager/ Dy. General Manager) to be engaged as a Consultant, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant field. The retired officials shall be medically fit and age shall not be more than 70 years. The eligible candidate should be clear from Vigilance / Disciplinary angle at the time of retirement, and there should be no criminal case pending against the eligible candidate. The appointment of consultants would be on a full-time contract basis and they would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of consultancy.

Therefore, there are a total of 14 vacancies for Consultants in the ATM discipline of the Airports Authority of India, Western Region.
As per AAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility and qualification criteria for the Consultant position in the ATM discipline of the Airports Authority of India are clearly outlined. Firstly, only retired Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) from AAI who held the rank of E-7/E-6 (Jt. General Manager/ Dy. General Manager) are eligible to apply. Secondly, there is no cooling period required for ATCOs who retired from AAI, and consent for re-employment can be taken before retirement. Thirdly, a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant field is required for applicants.
Additionally, retired officials should be medically fit and should not be over 70 years of age. Eligible candidates must also be clear from a vigilance/disciplinary angle at the time of retirement and must submit supporting documents to prove it. There should be no pending criminal cases against the candidate, and the candidate must self-certify this. The selection process includes an interview, and eligible candidates must pass the interview and be selected based on merit ranking. Finally, candidates who have already completed 5 years as a Consultant with AAI cannot be re-engaged as per the existing policy.
As per AAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the period of engagement for the Consultant on a contract basis with the Airports Authority of India is for one year. The appointment is on a full-time contract basis, which means the consultant cannot take up any other assignments during the period of consultancy. If either the consultant or the AAI decides to terminate the contract, a notice period of one month needs to be given or one-month remuneration in lieu of the notice period.
As per AAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the remuneration for the Consultant position is a consolidated fixed monthly honorarium of INR 75,000/- (all inclusive). This means that the monthly payment of the Consultant will be INR 75,000, which will include all the allowances and benefits. The Consultant will be paid this amount for the duration of the one-year contract period.
As per AAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for the appointment of retired ATCOs from AAI as Consultants will be based on an advertisement posted on the AAI website followed by an interview conducted by the Regional Headquarters, Western Region. The number of vacancies listed in the advertisement is tentative and may increase or decrease at the discretion of the Airports Authority of India.
The RHQ, WR reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or reject any or all offers without issuing any further notice or reasons. The decision of the management will be considered final, and no appeal shall be entertained.
