AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2023: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Gorakhpur, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification for extramural project staff. The recruitment is purely temporary in various extramural research projects funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under Principal Investigator Dr. U Venkatesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine & Family Medicine, AIIMS Gorakhpur. The positions are available for community-based studies related to Cognitive Decline & Tribal Health.
The recruitment 2023 is for four positions: Scientist C (Non-Medical), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Project Technician, and Junior Nurse/Lady Health Visitor. The eligible candidates are invited to submit the application form online by the 25th of March 2023. As per AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection of candidates for the positions will be done through a Walk-In-Interview to be held on 28th March 2023, at the Academic Block, AIIMS, Gorakhpur. Separate applications should be submitted for each position, and the project allotment will be decided by the competent authority. Scientist C (Non-Medical): The upper age limit for fresh recruits is 40 years.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): The upper age limit for fresh recruits is 35 years.
Project Technician: The upper age limit for fresh recruits is 30 years.
Junior Nurse/Lady Health Visitor: The upper age limit for fresh recruits is 28 years.
As per AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, the educational qualification for open positions are mentioned below
Scientist C (Non-Medical): The candidate should have a 1st class Master’s Degree in Public Health/ Health from a reputed institution with four years of experience in a relevant field or a 2nd class Master’s Degree + Ph.D. in Public Health from a recognized university with four years of experience in a relevant field. The candidate should have at least two publications in peer-reviewed journals in the relevant area, prior experience in community-based study, ability to design and execute independent research studies/policy-centered work, and ability to work in a diverse interdisciplinary environment and provide guidance to other members.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Public Health and knowledge of handling statistical packages for health data analysis. The essential experience required for the post is two years of research experience.
Project Technician: The candidate should have passed 12th grade in science subjects and have a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or related subject or one year DMLT plus one-year required experience in a recognized organization or two years of field/laboratory experience in Government recognized organization. A B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years of experience.
Junior Nurse/Lady Health Visitor: The candidate should have completed High School or equivalent with science subjects plus a certificate course in ANM with five years of experience from a recognized institute/board.
As per AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get the following salary,
Scientist C (Non-Medical): The monthly consolidated emoluments for this post are Rs. 51,000/- + HRA = Rs. 55,440/-.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): The monthly consolidated emoluments for this post are Rs. 35,000/- pm + HRA.
Project Technician: The monthly consolidated emoluments for this post are Rs. 16,000/-.
Junior Nurse/Lady Health Visitor: The monthly consolidated emoluments for this post are Rs. 18,000/-.
