APSC Recruitment 2023: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced a job opening for Indian citizens to apply for various Junior Manager positions under the Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL). As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 27 vacancies available in this recruitment drive. The eligible candidates will be paid a salary within the range of Rs. 25,000.00 to Rs. 92,000.00 per month, with a grade pay of Rs. 12,100.00, in addition to the usual allowances under the rules of APGCL.
To be eligible, the candidate must hold a full-time diploma course in engineering from any Govt./Govt.-recognized/AICTE-approved polytechnic/institution, and the course duration should be at least three years after HSLC or equivalent. As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification,the candidates must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of January 1, 2023, and must be permanent residents of Assam. The upper age limit will be relaxed for candidates belonging to different categories, as per the Government notifications. The candidates must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application. As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the starting date for online application is 05-05-2023, and the closing date for the same is 04.06-2023. The last date for payment of the application fee is 06-06-2023.

As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age relaxation criteria for the Junior Manager posts in APGCL. As per the information provided, the minimum age limit for the candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 38 years as of 01-01-2023. However, there are certain relaxations available for candidates belonging to specific categories.
The age relaxation for SC/SIP/SIH candidates is 5 years, which means the maximum age limit for these candidates is 43 years. For OBC/MOBC candidates, the age relaxation is 3 years, and the maximum age limit is 41 years as per the government notification No. ABP 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the educational qualifications required for the post of Junior Manager are as follows:
Full-time Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./ Govt. recognized/ All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Polytechnic/Institution.
The course duration should be a minimum of 3 (Three) years after HSLC or equivalent or 2 (Two) Years (Base) + 2 (Two) Years (Diploma)) course from Govt./ Govt. recognized/ AICTE approved Institution.
A minimum of 60% mark in the qualifying examination of the Diploma course in Engineering for the said post is required. In the case of SC & ST candidates, minimum 50% marks are a must in the qualifying examination of a full-time diploma course.
The specific educational qualifications required for each post of Junior Manager are:
a) For Junior Manager (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
b) For Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full-time 3(three) years diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
c) For Junior Manager (IT): Full-time 3(three) years diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Technology.
d) For Junior Manager (Instrumentation): Full-time 3(three) years diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, to apply for the Junior Manager position, applicants must follow the online application process through APSC’s recruitment website. No other means or modes of application will be accepted, and any such attempts will be rejected.
If applicants have not already registered on the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC, they must do so by clicking on the “Register Here” link and completing the Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic details. It is recommended that candidates register with a valid and active email address for communication purposes.
After creating an account, applicants need to log in with their credentials and provide their One Time Registration details, such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB and not older than 3 months), Signature (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB), and other required documents. Once these details are submitted, applicants can download the One Time Registration details and click on the Applicant Section => Apply Section link to submit the application form. Interview schedule and requirements regarding the submission of certificates for claims made in the online application will be intimated to candidates through the Commission’s website in due course of time.
