BEL Recruitment 2023: The Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is seeking applications for temporary posts of Trainee Engineers at its Missile Systems SBU, Bengaluru Complex. The company is a Navartna undertaking under the Ministry of Defence and is considered to be India’s premier professional electronics company. Candidates who are willing to be posted at the specified location and travel across India should apply before the extended deadline of 31st March 2023. As per BEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the company requires eight Trainee Engineers-I, with a qualification of BE/B. Tech/B.Sc in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engg/Computer Science Engg from an AICTE recognized University/ Institution. Candidates applying for the post must be 28 years old as of 1st March 2023. However, the upper age limit is relaxed by three years for OBC (NCL), five years for SC/ST, and ten years for PwBD candidates (having a minimum 40% disability, in addition to the relaxation applicable to OBC(NCL)/SC/ST candidates). The selected candidates will initially be hired for two years, and the same may be extended up to a maximum of one year (maximum tenure of three years) depending on the progress of the project and the performance of the candidate.

As per BEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the period of contract for Trainee Engineer-I is initially two years from the date of joining. It can be extended up to a maximum of one year, subject to the progress of the project and performance of the candidate, making the maximum tenure 3 years.
The remuneration for Trainee Engineer-I is an all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- per month for the first year of engagement, Rs. 35,000/- per month for the second year, and Rs. 40,000/- per month for the third year, respectively.
As per BEL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection procedure for the Trainee Engineer-I position includes a Written Test and an Interview. The Written Test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates, and those who qualify in the Written Test will be called for an Interview. 85% marks will be allotted for the Written Test, and 15% marks will be allotted for the Interview.
