The selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of 05 years or 60 years of age, whichever is earlier which can be extendable up to the age of 62 years at the discretion of the Board.

Candidates should have worked in SAG or NF-HAG grade and have a proven track record of 25 years in Group A/Executive Service in Railways, Metro Rail Corporations. Candidates presently working in BMRCL and meeting the eligibility criteria may also apply provided they have served as General Manager/Chief Engineer in BMRCL for at least 2 years. The maximum age criteria in such cases may be relaxed by one year i.e. upto 58 years as on the date of this notification. An Officer having experience of Metro Rail Operations shall be preferred.
