Delta Corp’s Gaming Expansion Blocked by High Court

On April 30, 2026, Delta Corp Limited (Symbol: DELTACORP / Scrip Code 532848) informed the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited that the Hon’ble Bombay High Court dismissed Writ Petition No. 317 of 2019 on April 29, 2026.
This petition, originally disclosed in December 2018, sought a direction for the grant of a license under Section 13A of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, to install slot machines and electronic amusement games at the Deltin Hotel.
Following the dismissal, the company’s Company Secretary and Vice President-Secretarial, Dilip Vaidya, stated that the organization is currently evaluating its legal options regarding the matter.
