Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023: The Registrar General, High Court of Bombay, Mumbai has invited Online Applications from the Individuals Eligible for 02 Posts with overall 15 Vacancies; 02 Family Court Judges in Regular Cadre and 13 Temporary Posts Family Court Judges in Bombay High Court Maharashtra State vide the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 3rd April 2023 (03.04.2023). As has been notified in the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement there are 02 Posts with 15 Vacancies; i.e., 02 Family Court Judges in Regular Cadre and 13 Temporary Posts Family Court Judges in the Pay Scale Rs.144840-194660 Plus Dearness Allowance and other Allowances as admissible under the Rules in High Court, Bombay.
As is notified in the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the Last Date for the Eligible Candidates to complete Online Application and Registration Process is in progress from 03.04.2023. The Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Process in accordance with the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement shall close on 25.04.2023.
As has been notified in the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 15 (02 Plus 13) Vacancies to be filled up:
Post Name with Vacancies:
1) Family Court Judges (Regular Cadre): 02 Vacancies
2) Family Court Judges (Temporary): 13 Vacancies
As has been notified in the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Recruitment, the Pay Matrix Level Applicable to the Family Court Judges:
Pay Matrix Level: Rs 144800-194600 Plus DA and Other Allowances as Admissible under the Rules.
Based on the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit for Un-Reserved Category Candidates (As on the Closing Date of the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification 25.04.2023) for General Merit Candidate is as follows:
The Un-Reserved Category Candidate should Not Lesser than 35 Years.
Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates.
As per the Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligibility including Educational Qualification is as follows:
The Candidates should have the following Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications with Experience explained hereunder:
A) Minimum 07 Years for holding a Judicial Office/Office of a Member of Tribunal or the any Post under the Union Government/State Government with Special Knowledge of Law; OR
B) Minimum 07 Years for Practicing as an Advocate of any State High Court/02 or more such Courts in succession; OR
C) i) Post Graduate in Law with Specialization in Personal Law
ii) Post Graduate Degree in Social Science; With
iii) Minimum 07 Years’ Experience in Field Work/Research or teaching in any Government Department/College/University/Comparable Academic Institute with Special reference to the Problem of Women and Children; OR
iv) Minimum 07 Years’ Experience in the Examination and/Or Application of Central/State Laws relating to Marriage, Divorce, Maintenance, Guardianship, Adoption and other Family Disputes.
The Selection Process for Family Court Judges Posts in the Family Courts involves 03 Stages yielding Final Merit List; as follows:
1) Preliminary Written Examination (Single Test Paper): Maximum 200 Marks
2) Main Written Examination (consisting of 01 or more Paper carrying 100 Marks each):
3) Viva voce: 50 Marks
In order to be considered Eligible for Selection as Family Court Judge Posts, the Candidates should score 50% Marks in each Paper. Reserved Community Candidates shall have to score 45% Marks. The Minimum Pass Marks to be secured by General Un-Reserved Candidates are 40% to be considered Eligible for Selection.
The Selection Process mandates Preference for Appointment on Family Court Judges Posts shall be accorded to both Male and Female Genders displaying and practicing Committed toward protecting and preserving the Institution of Marriage and to promote the Welfare of Children and Qualified by reason of their Experience and Expertise in the Settlement of Disputes by Conciliation and Counseling.
The Selected Candidate will have to execute a Bond in the sum of Rs.2.00 Lac (Rupees Two Lac only) to work on the post for a period of 03 Years from the Date of joining, in default the Candidate himself/herself, his/her Legal Heirs, Legal Representatives, Executors and Assignees will be liable to pay/forfeit to the Government the said Amount.
At the time of Appointment, every Selected Candidate will have to furnish an Undertaking that for a period of 02 Years from the Date on which they cease to be in Service, they will not practice in any Family Court in Maharashtra State.
According to Bombay High Court Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Requisite Fee to be paid by the Candidates are as follows:
Remittance Mode: Online Application Fee to be paid through SBI Collect
i) Un-Reserved Category Candidate: Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only
ii) Reserved Community Candidate: Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only
