BPSC Recruitment 2022: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Patna has invited Applications only from the Contractual Working Candidates, fulfilling Eligibility for Appointment for the Posts of Assistant under the Commission, Government of Bihar State.
Among the intending Persons having met the prescribed Eligibility for Assistant Post may apply Online as per the Instructions prescribed in the Re-advertised BPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification (Re-advertised).
There are 44 Vacancies for BPSC-notified Assistant Posts. The Crucial Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Process with their respective Scanned Signatures, Photographs, Matriculation Certificate, and other Certificates relating to Academic and Professional Qualifications, etc. will commence on 14th December 2022 (14.12.2022) with the Last Date for the Online Application Process (OAP) terminating on 21st December 2022 (21.12.2022) vide BPSC Recruitment 2022.

Age Limit (As On 01.08.2022): General Category Candidates should be Minimum 21 Years and must not Exceed 37 Years. Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Communities has been enumerated in the BPSC Recruitment 2022 Advertisement (Re-advertised) issued for the purpose.
Essential Qualification: The Candidate should have in possession Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from the Government of India Accredited University or Institution established by Law.
Selection to the Assistant Post consists of Shortlisting for the Personal Interview followed by Evaluation of Documents and Service Experience, and finally preparation of a Category-specific and Community-wise Merit List for Final Selection.
Bihar Public Service Commission shall conduct an Assessment Process involving Evaluation of i) Academic Records allotted Maximum 25 Marks and ii) Personal Interview allotted 25 Marks and iii) Preference to Contractual Working Experience up to 05 Years for Total 25 Marks (i.e., Each 01 Year of Service completed shall be awarded 05 Marks).
i) Un-Reserved Category Candidate: Rs.600 Plus Bank Charges
ii) Bihar State’s SC/ST Candidates: Rs.150 Plus Bank Charges
iii) Bihar State Resident Un-Reserved and Reserved Category Women: Rs.150 Plus Bank Charges
iv) Bihar State Resident Person with Benchmark Disability (more than 40% Disability): Rs150 Plus Bank Charges
v) General Merit Candidates and all other Communities from across India (other than Bihar State): Rs.600 Plus Bank Charges
vi) Reserved Community Candidates from all Parts other than Bihar State: Rs.600 Plus Bank Charges
The Candidates should carefully go through the Re-advertised BPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification and only after ensuring that they have fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria in reference to Assistant Post and then proceed with completing the Online Application Process including uploading the Scanned Signatures, Photographs (as per Specification), Certificates pertaining to the Educational and Professional Qualifications, Experience (if applicable), Caste and Community Certificate (where applicable).
