1. SI/Staff Nurse – 10
2. ASI/Dental Technician – 01
3. ASI/Lab Technician – 07
4. Junior X-Ray Assistant (Head Constable) – 40
5. Constable (Table Boy) – 01
6. CT (Ward Boy/ Ward Girl/ Aya) – 05
There are a total of 64 vacancies for these posts.
Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2023:
According to the BSF Recruitment 2023 Notifications, the age limit of the candidates shall be as given below. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of online applications.
Qualifications for BSF Recruitment 2023:
For SI/Staff Nurse:
Essential:
(i) 10+2 or Equivalent
(ii) Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme.
(iii) Registration as General Nurse and Midwife with the Central or State Nursing Council.
Desirable:
Experience in the field of Tuberculosis, Hospital Administration, Sister Tutor, Public health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry.
For ASI/Dental Technician:
The candidate should hold following qualifications:
(i) 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution.
(ii) Registration as Dental Technician with two years Diploma from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.
For ASI/Lab Technician:
The candidate should hold following qualifications:
Essential:
(i) 10+2 with science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
(ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution of the Central or the State Government.

Pay Scale under BSF Recruitment 2023:
As per the BSF Recruitment 2023 advertisement, the candidates appointed for the given posts shall be entitled to the following Pay Scales:
For SI/Staff Nurse
The selected candidate shall be placed at Pay Scale Level – 6, Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400
For ASI/Dental Technician/ASI/Lab Technician
The selected candidate shall be placed at Pay Scale Level – 5, Rs. 29,200 – 92,300
For Junior X-Ray Assistant (Head Constable)
The selected candidate shall be placed at Pay Scale Level – 4, Rs. 25,500 – 81,100
For Constable (Table Boy)/ CT (Ward Boy/ Ward Girl/Aya)
The selected candidate shall be placed at Pay Scale Level – 3, Rs. 21,700 – 69,100.
