CBIC Notification for removal of end date on export duty on Parboiled Rice and prescribe condition on import of Yellow Peas [Read Notification] The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified the removal of the end date on export duty on Parboiled Rice and prescribed conditions on the import of Yellow Peas via issuing a Notification. The Notification Read as follows: In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 124 of the Finance Act, 2021 (13 of 2021), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby amends the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below, to the extent specified in the corresponding entries in column (3) of the said Table, namely:- This notification shall come into force on the 22nd day of February 2024.
