CBIC Warns Taxpayers About Fake GST Notices
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), responsible for administering Indirect Taxes in India, is part of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
The CBIC has warned all taxpayers about Fake GST Violations through the official handle of CBIC on X (Earlier Twitter). The CBIC has also shared some tips to identify Fake GST violations.
The CBIC has shared these following tips to spot Frauds:

- The language and structure may seem official, but it's not.
- They'll use the GST logo and a Fake DIN number.
- Visit cbic.gov.in to verify your DIN.
- Always verify the DIN number before acting.
