Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023: Human Capital Management (HCM) department of the Central Bank of India is seeking applications for the Engagement of Apprentices for the fiscal year 2023-24. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start their careers in the banking sector. The Recruitment and Promotion Division of the HCM department has announced a total of 5000 vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship policy of the Bank. The selected candidates will be engaged in branches/ offices in the respective districts at the discretion of the Bank.

The online registration for the recruitment drive begins on 20th March 2023 and ends on 3rd April 2023. As per Central Bank of India Recruitment, 2023 official notification the tentative date of the online examination is in the second week of April. As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Human Capital Management (HCM) department of the Central Bank of India is inviting applications for the Engagement of Apprentices for the fiscal year 2023-24. This is a golden opportunity for those candidates who are aspiring to begin their careers in the banking sector. The HCM department’s Recruitment and Promotion Division has announced 5000 vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship policy of the Bank. The selected candidates will be engaged in the respective districts’ branches/offices, as per the Bank’s discretion.

Eligibility for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the minimum age requirement for candidates is 20 years, and the maximum age limit is 28 years as of the cut-off date. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit for categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWBD, as per the guidelines set by the Government of India.

In terms of education, candidates should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Selection Process for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for the engagement of Apprentices in the Central Bank of India will include an online written test and a local language proficiency test. The online written examination will consist of five parts, including Quantitative, General English, Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, Basic Retail Liability Products, Basic Retail Asset Products, Basic Investment Products, and Basic Insurance Products. The duration of the exam will be published along with the call letters, and candidates up to four times the number of vacancies will be called for an interview at the bank’s discretion.

The merit list will be drawn district-wise and category-wise, and candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective districts and categories. In case of a tie, the candidate’s age will be used to break the tie, with the older candidate receiving the higher rank. Additionally, the candidate must be proficient in the local language and produce a certificate of VIII/X/XII or graduate level having studied the local language as one of their subjects.

The bank reserves the right to conduct any other test or follow any other selection criteria at its discretion.

Tenure for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the period of engagement for the Apprenticeship program at the Central Bank of India is 1 year. Once the candidates are found suitable for engagement based on the merit list, they will be offered the engagement digitally through the apprenticeship portal. The candidates who receive the offer of apprenticeship online from the Bank need to accept it on the portal within a stipulated time and date. The apprenticeship training will be deemed to have commenced from the training start date mentioned on the contract of apprenticeship.

Stippned for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the stipend for the apprentices engaged in the Rural/Semi-Urban branches will be Rs. 10,000 per month and they will also receive a Diem Allowance of Rs. 225. For those engaged in Urban branches, the stipend will be Rs. 12,000 per month and the Diem Allowance will be Rs. 300.  For those engaged in Metro branches, the stipend will be Rs. 15,000 per month and the Diem Allowance will be Rs. 350.

The Diem Allowance will be paid only if the apprentice is required to travel for official purposes as per the specified rates. The apprentices will be entitled to travel by Sleeper class by train for official travel and the actual cost incurred for the shortest route will be reimbursed. For travel by road, the actual cost incurred on public transport will be reimbursed. The apprentices will not be eligible for any other allowances or benefits.

How to Apply for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the application/examination/intimation fee for the Bank of India Apprenticeship program is as follows:

PWBD candidates: Rs. 400/- + GST
Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/All Women candidates: Rs. 600/- + GST
All other candidates: Rs. 800/- + GST

If the applicant has already created a profile on the apprenticeship portal, they will be prompted to log in and apply. If not, they will need to create a profile first and then log in and apply.

After successfully applying for the apprenticeship, all applicants will receive an email communication from BFSI SSC containing bank details for payment of the examination fee. The applicants will also need to provide their personal information, category, name of scribe (for PwD candidates), and their preference of 1/2/3 districts for their engagement if selected.
