CMRL Recruitment 2023: Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is inviting applications for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer on a deputation basis. As per the CMRL Recruitment 2023 notification, there is only 01 vacancy. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years.

As per the CMRL Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates should be an Officer belonging to Organized Group A Services drawing pay in the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) scale in their cadres (Functional/Non-Functional). The officer having experience working in technical disciplines of Group A engineering disciplines of railways will be preferred. The Benchmark for selection would be at least ‘8.0’ in the APAR Grading of the last 5 years ACR and the integrity should be beyond doubt. (Wherever number grading is not available, ‘Very Good’ will be acceptable). An officer with experience handling various preventive and punitive measures in detecting and punishing corruption and other malpractices is preferable.
As per the CMRL Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates above the age of 56 years are not eligible to apply for this job post.
The deputationist shall have the option either to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization with deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each. To draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance (20% of Basic Pay).
The selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years which may be extended up to 05 years.
