Coal India Recruitment 2023: South Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released a notification inviting applications for the engagement of one Full Time Advisor (Secretarial) on a contractual basis for an initial period of six months, which may be extended up to two years, subject to the requirement and satisfactory performance. As per Coal India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidate must be a retired executive of Secretarial discipline from CIL & its subsidiaries, PSUs/autonomous organizations of Central/State governments, officers of class-C and above of Central & State Govt. (Non-clerical) & members of National level professional institutions, with a minimum of five years of experience in Secretarial discipline. The maximum age limit for eligibility is 60-65 years during the contract period.
As per Coal India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Full-Time Advisor (Secretarial) will be stationed at SECL/HQ and will function as an advisor in the office of Chairman-cum-Managing Director Secretariat SECL, as per requirement on a day-to-day basis. The incumbent’s responsibilities will include preparing reports/orders/letters and various communications and other jobs assigned to him/her as per requirement. The remuneration for the Full Time Advisor (Secretarial) will be consolidated monthly compensation/honorarium of INR 75,000 per month. Accommodation and conveyance facilities will also be provided, and medical, leave, and TA/DA shall be governed as per CIL’s policy for availing the services of full-time/part-time advisors.

As per Coal India Recruitment 2023 official notification, applicants who are 60 years old or older but not yet 65 years old at the time of the contract period are eligible to apply. However, they cannot continue their engagement beyond the age of 65. The cutoff date for determining eligibility will be the date when the notification for the contract is issued.
As per Coal India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the consolidated honorarium and other benefits are as follows:
(i) The consolidated monthly compensation or honorarium for retired executives will vary depending on their grade and are as follows:
E8: Rs. 105000 per month
E7: Rs. 90000 per month
E6: Rs. 75,000 per month
E5: Rs. 60,000 per month
E4: Rs. 52,500 per month
E3: Rs. 45,000 per month
E2: Rs. 37,500 per month
(ii) Suitable Company accommodation will be provided on availability. However, if the company’s accommodation is not available, a consolidated amount of 10% of the consolidated pay will be paid. If the retired executive is provided with company accommodation, the house rent applicable to executives on the roll will be recovered.
(iii) Full-time advisors will be provided with conveyance as per the availability. However, in case conveyance is not provided, they shall be eligible for 5% of the consolidated pay per month as conveyance charges.
(iv) The use of mobile telephones will be reimbursed based on the actual bills or Rs. 750 per month, whichever is less.
(v) Medical, leave, and travel allowance or DA shall be governed as per CIL’s policy for availing the services as full-time or part-time advisors.
