The National Testing Agency (NTA) reopens the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduates (CUET PG) 2023 registration process. Willing students can apply online from 9th May to 11th May 2023.

CUET PG 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Postgraduates (PG) 2023. The NTA reopened and activated the registration link on 9th May 2023. The registration process will remain open until 11th May 2023. Desirous students should immediately visit the official website of the CUET to register and apply online, as there may not be any further extension. Candidates will have to make the application fee payment online.
The decision to reopen the registration window was made after NTA received multiple emails from candidates and UGC requesting that the procedure be reopened because applicants were unable to complete their registration for a variety of unforeseen circumstances. This opportunity is available to all candidates who could not finish their registration earlier, as well as those who wish to apply as fresh candidates for the CUET PG 2023. Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 1000, Rs 800, Rs 750, and Rs 700, respectively, for General, OBC/NCL/Gen-EWS, SC/ST/third Gender, and PwD candidates.
The candidates will be given the option to correct their application particulars from 12th May to 13th May 2023 by activating the online application form correction window. Earlier, the NTA opened the correction window from 6th May to 8th May 2023. The dates for downloading the City Intimation Slip, Admit Card, and Declaration of Result will be displayed on CUET (PG) portal at the appropriate time.
The CUET PG 2023 examination will be organized over several days in two shifts. The entrance exam for the CUET PG 2023 will be held on 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 June 2023. The examination will be held in two shifts– morning and afternoon. The first shift (morning session) exam will be conducted from 10 AM to 12 Noon and the second shift (afternoon session) exam will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Candidates should prepare all the documents and particulars listed below before they start to fill out the application form, to avoid any issues during the application process.
As per previous trends, the CUET PG 2023 exam will have 100 questions in total. The paper will be divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. The CUET PG Exam Part A is expected to have 25 questions and cover topics like Language Comprehension/ Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, etc. This part will be common for every candidate irrespective of their subject expertise. The CUET PG Exam Part B is expected to have 75 questions and will cover subject knowledge of a particular domain for which the candidate applied.
All the questions will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions). The duration of this exam will be 2 hours. This exam will be conducted online (in computer-based mode). Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for a correct response. There is a deduction of 1 mark for the incorrect response. Unanswered questions will bear no marks. The maximum score for the CUET PG examination is 400.
